Trent Stephens, Festival Artistic Director, proudly remarks that while it is not produced as much as Shakespeare’s other comedies, its production history has been marked by in-depth examinations of sexuality, morality, mercy, and justice. This play provides audiences with interesting questions beyond easy answers while exhibiting a jocular sense of humor. It is an excellent way for viewers to consider these nuanced issues in a lighthearted manner.

Visitors are invited to join the experience at the PBS Shakespeare Festival; gates open at 6:30 PM, and performances start at 8 PM. Concessions will be available, so come early to grab a snack. Bring a beach chair, blanket, and picnic basket for a night of delightful entertainment.
