In addition, traffic will be changed, and neighboring tenants may need to be acquired for this project to bring Publix’s elevation effort to fruition.

Additionally, traffic flow through the plaza will be changed to accommodate the new building.
Permit for Publix Demolition Issued
The City of Palm Beach Gardens announced that a permit for the demolition of Publix was issued on June 26. Despite work not beginning until early 2021, the store is projected to open in the spring of 2025, with its rebuilding bringing changes to parking and landscaping as well as an art requirement, which will be reviewed by the Art in Public Places Advisory Board later.
