CACI is gearing up for their annual Cultural Diversity Day celebration, taking place on May 13th. Joining them in the festivities are community leaders and members of the organization who aim to strengthen the connection between people in the Caribbean-American heritage. Through sharing stories and culture, all involved hope to celebrate the unique identity of those of black Caribbean ancestral heritage.
Caribbean-American for Community Involvement (CACI) is proud to announce its Cultural Diversity Day event taking place on May 13. At the event, members and community leaders will come together to celebrate the organization’s mission of connecting people of Black Caribbean ancestral heritage with social and educational activities. President Dennis Wright expressed his enthusiasm for the occasion, saying “Our hope is that Cultural Diversity Day will show our community just how much this organization has to offer!”
Hildreth Stoddart-Brown, director of cultural diversity at CAFCI, noted: “This is an opportunity to get to know one another better and appreciate the different cultures that make up our community.”
Former culture committee director Elet Cyris stated, “It’s a great way for our youth to understand that we can all come together and share our heritage.”
Mayor Fred Pinto of Royal Palm Beach, who was also the former president of the Caribbean-American organization, is proudly encouraging the residents of the Village of Royal Palm Beach to come out and experience Cultural Diversity Day on Saturday, May 13. Delicious food and great music with live musicians will be at Veteran’s Park, and admission is free.

Cultural Diversity Day will be a wonderful opportunity for the local and Caribbean-American communities to embrace the cultural differences held within. Even more, this occasion will display all of the amazing work that CACI does for its people. Attendees at Veteran’s Park can enjoy food, live music, and learn how to further connect with their locale heritage. Mayor Fred Pinto encourages all in the Royal Palm Beach area to come out and experience the significance of being part of a diverse culture firsthand.
